My Grundy had a similar problem, but it was the leg connectors. I think there was a ring or loop missing on the inside as the legs would wiggle around when they were connected to the torso. I had to crack open his torso with some boiling water, and then glue some toothpicks around so that the sockets would fit snug.

I'll just be happy enough to get all the peices to form Grundy

Right now I need his right leg and both arms

I came home from class this morning, and was very excited to find a case of DC Universe Classics wave 3 on my porch, the but the excitement turned to sadness when I realized that my Solomon Grundy figure was defective. The arm sockets on the Solomon Grundy torso which came with Nightwing have no rivets, and thus the arms will not attach in any way to the figure. Instead of a socket or rivets, there is just a large empty hole through Solomon Grundy.

I called Mattel customer service (longshot, I know) and as I feared, they were unable to help in any way. They don't keep parts around. Now I know what it means to get "Matteled!" @loll@

Anyone else had this problem, or know an easy way that i might be able to fix it? Chances are slim to none that i will ever actually see these figures since the only two retailers near me are a Super Walmart and a Kmart. Heck, if anyone is wanting to get rid of just a Solomon Grundy torso, let me know.

return it to the store/e-tailer.
