Okay 3 words, Yes Yes I wish Hasbro would make him.

I'm happy that Hasbro's cutting the repaints both ways. By reusing the same molds over and over, they get more mileage out of costly tools, and their profits stay up so we get more characters. All plusses for all of us.

But then comes to repaints of the Scarlett mold that are Scarlett. Not a new character (like Diver Baroness). We have two choices. We're getting the repaint no matter what, so it can be some random color pallete, or it can be an approximation of some foreign repaint of the original Scarlett mold.

Why *wouldn't* they go that route? If we have to see another Scarlett before the Movie line, I'd love Undercover Scarlett, in the color scheme of Action Force's Quarrel. Better that than the 1998 TRU repaint in orange and purple, or in Ninja Force colors.

Okay okay Hasbro, do your repaints.. but when it comes time to make a new character, make a NEW figure! BBQ would have been so much better with a new torso mold instead of forcing one onto that Snowjob body... the EELs would have been so much better without tossing his shoulder pads onto Torpedo... etc etc.

And those aren't even the worse examples, by far.

I agree, there's plenty of repaints to go around without sacrificing new characters. Look at poor Leatherneck and Cutter...

As far as international repaints, well, I love the international RAH figures, but I don't care so much if they show up in the new line. I don't mind if some things just stay RAH.

meh.. I dont really care about international characters that much...

they make for some interesting repaints (I love my UK Mutt).... but aside from that, I dont care about them "staying true" to characters that don't even exist for me.

Hasbro loves repaints because they know people will buy them and its a good way for them to boost their profits without investing anything... Which I think they have been doing far too much.

What they don't get anymore is that sometimes the best way to make money is to make a better product. I assure you Hasbro, you will make more money by doing our Joes justice than you will by cutting all the corners you can get away with.

ANd if you want to do repaints, I'll happily take all of Tigerforce, Night Force, and Python Patrol (but you can keep Slaughter's Marauders).
