2008 Q&A Session With Hasbro's Star Wars Brand Team Round 15

Jay Cochran - September 05, 2008

Hasbro's Star Wars brand team agreed to answer three questions from Jedi Insider fans every other week. Here are this week's questions and answers. This is the 15th round for 2008.

JI: I am working on getting all 6 sets to the High Jedi Council, and I only have two more packs to go! I know coming soon to the Legacy Collection is a pack with Jedi Council members Yaddle and Even Piell. Also, we will have a new Stass Allie who is on the Council in Episode 3. I was wondering if we could get new figures for the council, especially a Depa Billaba that can sit so I can sit her down proper in her seat! I'd also like a new Eeth Koth! What are the chances of seeing these figures in the Legacy Collection for 2009? This question comes from JI reader Shaakti543.

Hasbro: There is no chance that those figures will be in the lineup for 2009, but we think there is a decent chance they could make 2010 or shortly thereafter. Upgraded versions of the Council seem to be on a lot of fans' radar screens, so we will take your suggestion under advisement as we start to work on the 2010 line, with good ideas that we can't fit in rolling into the "parking lot."

JI: Will we see a Ziro the Hutt figure made for the Clone Wars line?

Hasbro: We do not have plans for Ziro right now, but based on fan interest he is someone we are considering, perhaps as a future exclusive.

JI:When the 'spirit of Yoda' figure is updated, would it be like the OTC 'Spirit of Obi-Wan' (iridescent plastic cloak) [my personal favortite] or 30th ANniversary 'Spirit of Anakin' (transluent cloth cloak). Have matching versions of Anakin/Obi-Wan been considered?

Hasbro: We love that version too, and while there is no plan to update Yoda, we agree that the same standards should be used so we can eventually see a matched set of Spirits.

If you would like to submit a question for Hasbro to answer, then head over to the new JediInsider Forums and post it. We might select it as a question to be asked in a future Q&A. We will be sending in the next batch of question on September 12.

that Costume is FTMFW.

looks like it took a lot of time and patience... and thank god your not fat.

Nothing worse then seeing a fat Baroness...

lol

oh and theres a Guy down the Block with the Fully Outfitted Delorean, with everything from BTF2.

Including Mr. Fusion.. with a empty catch can, so you can fool people and actually throw banana peels and Empty beer cans in and pretend it works.

its great!

That Flux Capaciter on bbts costs an arm and a leg

They still seem to have the best overall price though. One of us (not sure which) just got their $600 refund check direct deposited, so we went ahead and bought one (along with TF Henkei Astrotrain while we were at it). So hopefully now we'll never have to hear another random person ask "So where's the flux capacitor?? Har har har..."

And on the costume front, I personally would love to put together a Cobra Viper outfit for myself. I'm just not sure where to begin. I could probably make the helmet on my own, but I'm not sure how I'd make the suit, forearm guards, etc.. Just something I'm mulling over.

A seeker would be cool but tough, mainly due to the wings. I think any TF costume is amazing due to the fact you dont see them. I for one think you need a female TF character, like Strippermaximus. hehe

I've thought of doing Skywarp many times.. but the wings would be the tough part..and I've thought of doing Cobra Commander..I have done other male characters.. Do you know of Hellsing?
