Mace Windu Mini Bust From Gentle Giant

Jay Cochran - February 28, 2013
Master Mace Windu was a member of the Jedi High Council before Order 66 and the Great Jedi Purge. During the Clone Wars, Master Windu served as High Jedi General of the Republic, overseeing the Jedi and Republic forces against the Trade Federation and their allies. During this battle he personally slew the infamous bounty hunter, Jango Fett.

I had my Episode I Mace and Ki Adi Mundi (sp?) switch up lightsabers since he, for some reason, came with the purple one. Like so many other Ep I figures, Ki Adi was bought before I saw the movie. Turns out, he did absolutely nothing!

Speaking of the Mace Windu preview mail-away figure, did you mean that you liked it? I always did. I guess at the time it was just exciting to see a whole new mysterious Jedi character other than Obi-Wan, Vader, Luke, or Yoda. It was pretty exciting.

yeah, i did like the figure. Still my favorite, probably for the simplicity and the plasticloak, out of all the Windus. Share the same feelings for it that Joe states above: excitement, followed by dashed dreams. I also liked the blue lightsaber...less pretentious than the "Purple is for Mace only" rule.

I like that preview figure too. He represented hope and anticipation for the future of Star Wars. Those hopes were dased by the actual movie but that's beside the point.

Yeah...as much as I love the prequel movies, I'm not such a fanboy that I can't admit the mistakes or problems the movies have. I have my issues with them as well. I think you hit the nail on the head with your execution comment.

(lol) Feat...I'd get irritated with your constant criticism and cynicism concerning the prequels if you weren't so funny.

its all in good fun...I have a love/hate relationship with star wars. There are some good ideas/concepts in the prequels, just poorly executed.

I love the Phantom Menace as a good, bad movie. And Mace Windu was never better than he was a a preview mail away.

Mace Windu Mini Bust From Gentle Giant

Just what everyone needs: and expensive statue of everyone's favorite wooden Jedi. It is carved of wood, right?
