This month, Topps returns to the Star Wars universe with the Star Wars Galaxy 7 Trading Card Set. In addition to the base card set, you can also look forward to a number of subsets and premium inserts, including sketch cards, and sketchographs. Below, you can see some of the sketch cards done for this set by artist Ashleigh Popplewell; this is her first Star Wars card set, she has also worked on such sets as Avengers Assemble and Marvel Beginnings II for Upper Deck, and Breygent's Red Sonja and Vampirella, among many others.
Here's what Ashleigh says Star Wars means to her:

"I have always been attracted to Star Wars because of its storytelling and beautiful visuals. As a child, I watched the films over and over on worn out VHS tapes and could tell you every line of each script. When episodes 1-3 came to be, I greatly appreciated the advances in effects and the vast landscapes and varieties of new characters. I mean, come on...it's Star Wars! Need I say more?"
