A massive exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of the GEORGE LUCAS film series STAR WARS is hitting London this year (07).
The display, which opens on 5 May (07) at the County Hall near Westminster, contains £1 million ($1.95 million) worth of memorabilia from the six-film sci fi saga, including a variety of costumes, props and spaceships.
Event promoter JONATHAN SANDS, says, "The producer George Lucas has said England is the spiritual home of Star Wars, and we expect 100,000 people per month to visit the exhibition."
The event is scheduled to run until September (07) although organisers suspect it could go on for longer.
