New AT-AT For 2010?!?! (Updated With More Details)
by Jay Cochran at 15:12:00 on 01/21/10

UPDATE: Rebelscum is reporting that this new AT-AT will be close to 3 feet tall, have a larger cockpit, aside panel that will open up to hold more troops and a rear panel to hold a speeder bike which will be included along with a AT-AT driver.

Some new images have hit the Internet like such places as JediTempleArchives.com of what appears to be Hasbro catalog scans depicting the new packaging for their Star Wars line in 2010 and a new AT-AT.

It is unclear as to the actual source of these images or in fact if they are even legit (though we suspect they are). For the AT-AT there is only a description which is as follows:

- "Larger than life" scale AT-AT
- Multiple play features include lights, sound, key phrases, leg articulation, chin guns, multiple compartments, a trap door with retractable cord and more!
- Comes with speeder bike and figure

It is unclear if this will simply be a re-release of the POTF version that was put out years ago or if this will be a new mold, perhaps like we saw done recently with the Millennium Falcon.

CLICK HERE to follow all the latest on these and thanks to Jeff for the heads up.

I didn't know we were still askin Hasbro questionsTNI: Hasbro Catalog scans of a new AT-AT toy leaked out online a few weeks ago and since then we have heard rumors this toy will be much larger than the old AT-AT toy. Rumors are saying this toy will be almost 3 ft in size, a larger cockpit, come with A AT-AT driver and come with a speeder bike. Can you confirm these specifications, are there any other specification you can provide such as a price point and are there any images you can provid... read post

I didn't say it was GOING to be $300. Just that if it was I'd have to make some financial adjustments to get it. My guess is it will be $169.99. I agree though. With the current economy it isn't going to sell nearly as well as it would have 5 years ago. Hopefully the economy driven lack luster sales now won't discourage Hasbro from releasing it again down the road when people have the money. If it is 3 feet tall! Personally I'd preffer they spend the mone... read post

My guess is that the new-scale AT-AT will be at the $150 price point. It'll probably be the new "BMF". Whether it's $100 or $150, I'll be getting at LEAST one.P.S.- "New-scale"? Is it "to scale" in comparison to the new AT-ST, the figures, or what? Could you imagine? A THREE-FEET tall Imperial Walker! That'd be friggin' GREAT!
